ACCOMPLISHMENTS

• Created and implemented an awareness campaign that received over $260 thousand in Earned Media Coverage and increased social media fans throughout an entire region by 24% in one month.  

• Developed and implemented local “March is Red Cross Month” (MIRCM) campaign organizing a major sponsor partnership with 26 local franchises of national brand Dunkin’ Donuts.  Organizing the franchises to turn the icing on their donuts red for the first time each year, during the month of March.

• Promoted from Development and Communications Specialist to Marketing and Public Relations Specialist  finally to Regional Communications Officer within 3 years.

• Successfully launched new functional website for customers to buy tickets for events, pay for training and make donations.

• Implemented and designed Chapter Social Networking, increasing Chapter reach through social networking. Increasing website traffic substantially within the first year. Managed migration of several websites into new platform.  

• Recognized for successfully planning and promoting several events while also keeping up chapter media functions, interviews and internal/external communication during time(s) of disaster (Haiti/Sandy).
